Creating a cleaning schedule

Build a weekly cleaning schedule in CleanLog: pick a location, set the days and times, and assign cleaners so every shift is covered in advance.

Updated

A schedule lays out the shifts a location needs across the week and assigns the cleaners who cover them. Lay it out once, and the week is staffed before it starts.

How do I lay out a week of shifts?

  1. Open Schedule and choose the location you want to staff.
  2. Add a shift with its start and end time.
  3. Toggle Repeat across multiple days, pick the end date, and tick the days of the week it should land on.

CleanLog creates one shift for every day you picked, so the week shows up on the grid ready to staff. Each shift is its own row: assign, edit, or swap it on its own without touching the others.

How do I assign cleaners to a shift?

Assign one or more cleaners to the shift. Assigned cleaners see it on their mobile app and can clock in when they arrive on site, and those verified hours flow straight into payroll-ready timesheets.

Cover gaps early

Unassigned shifts stand out on the schedule. Fill them before the day arrives instead of scrambling when no one shows up.

How do I change a schedule later?

Open any shift on the grid and edit it. Time, cleaner, tasks: change what you need to change on that one shift. When the change is permanent, repeat the edit on the upcoming shifts on the grid.

For the basics first, see Setting up your first location. To compare what each plan includes, check pricing.
