Invite cleaners and managers to CleanLog, set each role, and control who sees the whole account, assigned locations, or only their own work.

Invite each person, pick their role, and they join your account. The role decides what they see: owners see the whole account, managers see the locations they run, and cleaners see only their own shifts and work orders. Invited cleaners get the mobile app to clock in and pick up assigned jobs.
How do I invite someone?
- Open Team and choose to invite a new member.
- Enter their email address.
- Pick their role: cleaner, manager, or owner.
- Send the invite.
They get an email with a link to set a password and join. Cleaners are then ready to appear on the schedule and download the mobile app. Invite people before you assign shifts, so there is someone to assign work to.
What can each role do?
Roles control how much of the operation a person sees and changes.
- Owner: full access. Manages billing, settings, every location, and the whole team.
- Manager: runs day-to-day operations. Builds schedules, assigns cleaners, raises work orders, and reviews time across the locations they manage.
- Cleaner: sees their own work only. Their shifts, the work orders assigned to them, and clock in and out on mobile.
Give managers enough to run their sites without exposing billing. Keep cleaners scoped to their own work so the app stays simple on their phone.
What does a cleaner see versus a manager?
A cleaner sees their own work; a manager sees the work for the locations they manage. A cleaner opens the mobile app to their assigned shifts and work orders, clocks in and out, and closes jobs with completion evidence when your workflow asks for it. They do not see other cleaners’ hours, the full account schedule, or account settings.
A manager sees the site picture: shifts, assignments, clock-ins, and open work orders for their locations. That split keeps the cleaner’s phone focused on the next job and gives the manager the overview they need to keep nothing slipping.
How do I change or remove someone?
Open the person in Team and change their role, or remove them when they leave. Changing a role updates their access right away. Removing someone keeps their past records intact: their clocked hours and completed work orders stay on the books for payroll and audit, they just can no longer sign in.
Move a cleaner to manager when they take on a site. Remove a leaver the day they go, so no inactive account holds access.
