OBC software comparison

CleanLog vs SIMPPLE: Which is better for an OBC cleaning contract?

Two capable products with different centres of gravity. We compare published pricing, OBC evidence, and support, and name the cases where SIMPPLE is the stronger buy.

Our verdict

Choose CleanLog for the OBC contract.

CleanLog keeps the evidence, the weighted score, and the signed monthly report in one flow, at a lower published price. SIMPPLE's strength is the wider platform around it.

When SIMPPLE is better: The purchase also has to cover robot fleet coordination and wider facilities operations, and you want one vendor for all of it rather than two.

A demo will make these two products look closer than they are. Both run cleaning audits. Both handle work orders and attendance. Both produce scores and reports. The separation comes at month end, when site records have to become the weighted KPI score your contract defines and a report both parties sign. Read everything below against that job. Where SIMPPLE's wider platform is the stronger buy, we say so.

What does one OBC contract cost?

One Singapore cleaning contract, one location, unlimited CleanLog users, a monthly KPI report, and client sign-off.

CleanLog · Operations & Evidence + OBC Compliance
S$388/month · First year: S$4,656, setup included. Unlimited users.
SIMPPLE · Standard + unpriced Quality Management
$749/month · Published monthly starting figure. First year: From $14,988 with setup. Setup from $6,000. Quality Management price not published. 25 licences; SIMPPLE does not define a licence on the page.
SIMPPLE · Pro + unpriced Quality Management
$1,990/month · Published monthly starting figure. First year: From $32,880 with setup. Setup from $9,000. Quality Management price not published. 100 licences; SIMPPLE does not define a licence on the page.

Bottom line: CleanLog's published first year costs less than SIMPPLE Standard's minimum setup fee alone, and it covers unlimited users where Standard covers 25 licences. Ask SIMPPLE for the complete first-year figure in writing: setup, licences, and Quality Management included, with the currency named.

Price is the easier half of the decision. The harder half is whether the product can produce your contract's number, not just an audit score. Make the demo do the work: give SIMPPLE your real KPI formula and weights, and ask to watch the monthly score get produced and signed end to end.

Does it meet the OBC requirements?

What each vendor's checked pages document, row by row. A dash names the nearest capability the vendor's page documents. "Not published" does not mean no; it means the page we checked does not document it, so ask in the demo.

What support is promised?

This section compares published commitments, not the quality of either support team.

CleanLog

  • Standard email support; initial setup included.
  • Priority Success adds up to two training or configuration hours monthly and a four-business-hour first-response target during Singapore business hours.

SIMPPLE

  • Technical support is listed from Basic upwards; Standard and Pro include up to three online training sessions.
  • No response target is published on the reviewed page.

One vendor or more flexibility?

SIMPPLE's integrated model can simplify procurement: software, robots, sensors, and facility integrations can sit with one supplier. SIMPPLE describes its facility-integration product as an open-API platform that works with ecosystem partners, so do not assume either openness or lock-in. Test the exit before you buy.

Ask for these answers in writing: Which operational records, photos, signed reports, device histories, and configurations can you export? Do third-party robots and sensors remain usable if you replace one layer? What happens to custom integrations, and what exit or migration fees apply?

CleanLog's policy is that all customer data remains yours and is exportable, with no exit fee. Core operational records already export to CSV. If a self-service export is not available yet, request a copy in a reasonable format while we add the remaining export surfaces. See CleanLog's data-portability policy.

Common questions

Can SIMPPLE run cleaning audits?

Yes. Its published material covers joint audits, signatures, reports, schedules, automatic scoring, and annotations.

Does the NEA OBC guide require either product?

No. The guide does not prescribe a software vendor. What matters is whether the system can support the requirements written into your tender and contract.

What should we ask for in a SIMPPLE demo?

Bring your contract's KPI schedule. Ask SIMPPLE to trace one result back to its source records, build your weighted monthly score, show contractor and client signing the same report, and explain what locks after signing.
